I''d LOVE to get opinions on Tacori proportions for their rings (SM, MD and LG). I have heard the LG is for stones 1.74-2.25. I tried on the MD version and am wondering how the LG size looks in comparison. Is everything about the setting scaled up? For example, if the band gets bigger (2.0mm to 2.2-2.4), do the diamonds in the band get bigger as well, or does the metal on the band just get bigger?

As background, I am looking at the pave 2620 for a diamond around 2 CT.

Thanks all!

This particular Tacori design is built proportionate to the center stone and thus the total weight of the accent diamonds will vary depending on the size of the center stone. The correct option for a 2.00 carat center stone is the LG which has an approximate total weight of about 0.37 carats.

Thanks very much Todd!

Hi PSers and tacori lovers.

Another question regarding the different sizes the Tacori''s come in. I am stumped. I tried on the MD (medium) Tacori 2620 in 2 different stores now and the melee on the band seemed to be a totally different size in each ring. Both retailers insisted that each was a MD and they both had tags that marked it is the "MD" however in one I could barely even see the diamonds in the band. they looked to be 1/2 pointers like the halo. In the other "MD" they were much bigger.

What could be the reason?
