Need some advice! For our anniversary this year we're upgrading my wedding ring setting. I have a 1.25ct princess cut currently set in an ordinary white gold setting with some side stones.
Our local jeweler is a Tacori dealer, and I've had my eye on this one for over a year. http://www.billbarnes.com/photos/HT2509-TAC-Angle1.jpg
Well, we went ahead and bought it! It's being set with my diamond this week. The only thing I'm not sure about is the split-claw prongs. It somehow takes the squareness away from the diamond. I love the setting, and I do love the look of it on the whole. My jeweler said she thought that claw type was classier than the typical single or v-claw setting. I guess I'm just looking for some validation.
What do you all think? Was this a good choice?
Thanks for your help!
