Disclaimer: I know enough about diamonds to be dangerous.

That said, I've been looking for a stone about 1.5 ct in size with good Color (E/F) and Clarity (VS2/SI1). Have recently found a GIA certified diamond (1.50/F/VS1) but noticed the table dimension (67%) looks to be on the high side (at least to my limited experience).

Am hoping someone on this site can offer an opinion as to how this table dimension impacts value....

Thanks,
JP

table dimension (67%)
Are you sure about that?
What is the gia cut grade or is it an old report?

Such a diamond would be pretty much unsalable in today's market and the value would be really low.

What shape is it?

Good question.
My answer above applies to a Round.
I could have sworn it said round......

If it is a princess it's not too bad, but not good for round.

Thank you...yes, I'm sure, the GIA cert says 67%. Here are some of the other values:

Cut grade: Good
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
Flourescence: None
Depth: 58.5%

GIA good cut grade pretty much means run away.
You can find a much better looking diamond.
