its a little bit wide on top, very little I have seen a good share of 57% tables

And its about 1% shallow for alot of stones I've seen as well.

If it were too far out of allignment the HCA would have graded it with a higher, poor score. This will likely face up bigger, and probably look closer to a .7 or so if I'm correct.

If it looks good or the pictures look good, and you like it then go for it!

HCA is a tool made by 1 person. That one person unfortunately, has a preference for diamonds to appear big so a higher table diamond might still score <2 for HCA hence your 1.4 score.

I'd get an idealscope image to make sure it still looks good. If so, then I'd buy it, not all low scoring HCA are the same.

Nothing whatsoever is wrong with a 58 table. Look in my avatar if you want to see a GIA Excellent with a 58 table.

And that stone faces up close to the normal size for a .65. I have ideal cut diamond studs at .65 that average about 5.58mm.

In Australia we favour a larger table than Americans, Aussies traditionally used a 60/60 rule (table, total depth) to indicate "ideal". A 58% table is perfectly fine.
