Tab vs Round Prongs... I'm so confused!!

Hope everyone is havong a lovley weekend! While I wait to chat with my Whiteflash angel Liza I thought I might get some advice on here regarding prongs for my upcoming solitaire.

I am having a 0.7 carat round 6 prong solitaire made and I am feeling super confused about the prongs! I was certain that I wanted round prongs but the more I look at the rings that I love (namely the iconic Tiffany solitaire... how predictable!!) I am realising that they might actually rounded tab prongs.

The setting I am planning on getting is the Whiteflash 6 prong classic (The vatche is sadly out of my budget):

I know all rings have their own little unique elements but am I right in thinking that these ones have tab rather than round prongs?? Why am I fidning it so hard to diferentiate between the two types of prongs?

Would love to hear from anyone who optted for tab prongs and how happy you have been with them

Thankyou so much! I have had a look at that one and I feel like maybe what I am after is tab prongs which are rounded and bit smaller than the ones shown there. It's so funny, the prongs will be so tiny but I can't stop obsessing!

I know exactly what you mean. I’m waiting on my decagon Diamond and I’m getting sharp prongs, but I’m driving myself crazy wondering if I should change them or not I ended up watching some YouTube videos , so I feel a bit better , but it’s a struggle. Prongs definitely matter. How long do you have to decide?

I’m waiting on my decagon Diamond and I’m getting sharp prongs, but I’m driving myself crazy wondering if I should change them or not I ended up watching some YouTube videos , so I feel a bit better , but it’s a struggle. Prongs definitely matter. How long do you have to decide?

I dont actually have a deadline so I am finding myself overthinking every little thing. But it is very fun and this has been something I have been wanting to do for literally years. Every time something has come up and I've had to put things on hold but recently my hubby encouraged me to take the leap and I am so excited to finally have my first ACA

I think you may want tab prongs (since that's the classic tiffany style), but perhaps a bit tinier than the tabs shown on the WF guide. I might ask for "petite tabs"
