I bought this diamond per suggestion of board

As less inclusions are visible according to WF.

Anyway, I saw a thread where someone changed the 4 prong head on Legato but no pictures were posted? Does anyone have any pictures of either 6 prong or claws? CLaws would be Sierra.

WF quoted a +$175 upcharge, which seems to be a bit high.
 
Why do you think the "upcharge" is steep? It seems reasonable to me, for what essentially becomes a custom order. :think: No pictures to share with you, but I love the Legato setting and I think a six-prong head is a terrific idea, especially for a stone of that size.
 
That sounds very fair to me as well.
 
By looks alone I prefer the traditional 4 or 6 prong head rather than the bulkier (to me) sierra head.
 
I am not seeing a side view of that ring. How do you even know it is a Legato Sleekline? I am not sure what the basket would look like with 6 prongs. No way to even give an opinion without seeing the profile of the ring. I personally think the setting looks best as it is. But if you can show us a picture of the 6 prong, I'll be glad to take a look!
 
Ooooh, I'm the same - I had enquired to see if they could make the legato sleek line into a 6 prong (and was quoted a similar amount to you), but am struggling to imagine what this would look like from the side.. Would like to see the profile if anyone can find it!
 
 
 
With Ring 1+3 above, there is no charge to modify and it just adds a few days production. It CAN be built off an existing ring.

With rings 2+4 , there is a +$200 up-charge and they can not build the ring off an existing ring. This adds an additional 4 days of production time.

Here is the problem, my "standard" Legato is done. My girlfriend hates 4 prong head - we will be in Maldives soon and I plan to propose there. I just can't wait for that ring to be complete....

What I will do is propose with 4 prong head ( we will be in the Maldives in 7 days) and then swap it out upon return. WF was gracious enough to extend the return period to 45 days.

I think a 6 prong on the Legato Sleek Line will be beautiful. I prefer 2 and 4 but all of the head options are lovely.

Can't wait to see pics of what you decide on :-)
 
Here's the straight on shot.

I dislike the 4 prong to be honest. I have decided with the 6 prong and Will have that done after I propose.
