So I know buying diamonds on ebay is risky business. I made that mistake once before discovering pricescope, but fortunately got all my money back! I recently discovered some suspicious things about a certain seller:
1) His feedback is 100% even though he clearly has 2 unretracted negatives. He has an awful lot of mutually withdrawn feedback that seem like they should not have been, as if he has an inside with someone.
2) His adress is VERY close to the UGL adress listed by the BBB:
UGL Inc
73 West 47th Street, 2nd floor
New York, NY 10036
AJD
15 West 47th Street
New York, NY 10036
Maybe I am paranoid, but could he be reponsible for fixing his own cert''s to sell diamonds? Just a thought...
And a warning, anyone out there still thinking about buying from a "reputable" ebay seller... he''s not one, unless you want what he claims is a VS2 but really is an I3.
Thanx from the newbie!
