My husband picked out a 3.38ct Asscher (square emerald) for me for our 15 yr. anniversary. I have long skinny fingers, size 4.5. I''m SO happy with the square! Even though asschers look small for thier carat weight, my thin finger makes it look huge.

Girl Friend has long thin fingers, ring size 6.5.
Originally, I was a bit nervous b/c of the depth, however, I just got it and it is a stunner!!! Lots of scintilation, and in natural sunlight... fire! fire! fire! Lots of greens and reds and blues and oranges. I could not be more pleased! I compared it to other princesses in mall stores today just for a size comparison, it looks the same size to the naked eye upon comparison, atleast my naked eye, accept that it is of much higher quality, if I do say so myself. I am very excited and think that I might soil myself at any moment. Just kidding. But seriously folks... Thank you to PS for the enlightening education that led me to the purchase of what is my engagement ring. It is eye clean, mind clean, and totally sweeeeeeet! Now I just have to be patient until I get to Paris,France with my Baby where I will propose to her up in the Eiffel (sp?) Tower. Ya can't get much more romantic than that...
