Laurent Duvernay -Tardif is an offensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s from a small town near Montreal. He is a McGill graduate and the first medical doctor to play in the NFL and the Super Bowl.
Lots of people here are excited!

Niners all the way! Always and forever.

that is super cool. i stopped following football years ago but used to watch the niners on TV w/ my dad growing up so that's who i'm rooting for and this is the 1st superbowl in years i'm planning to watch. hope it's a good game!

What I learned today is that Tiffany makes the Vince Lombardi trophy. It’s made from Sterling Silver and hand chased!

Story here from CBS

Since my team isn’t in it, I’m rooting for the Super Bowl drought Chiefs. Also rooting to win one of my work pools!

DH and the kids are all Giants fans. I don't really follow football but I'm going with the Chiefs.

Chiefs, only because of a friendly wager on it!

I'm not watching the game today (working) I think its all very interesting. I was born and raised in KCMO

If I were made of money I would have gotten my dad a ticket to the super bowl (those ticket prices were cray though!)

SF - 27
KC - 21

GO CHIEFS!

Chiefs, though I’m not a fan of either team.

I became a KC fan since the 49ers mistreated Joe and he went to KC.
I still have that game on tape around here somewhere where Joe and KC humiliated the 49ners with a huge boost from Derrick Thomas. I cheered every time Thomas put Young on his back every time he touched the ball.
That said I am just a casual football fan since then and generally dont pay much attention to it.
But this year I guess I will watch in the bread and circus event that is the Stupor Bowl and cheer KC on to hopefully another thrashing of the 49ners just for old times sake.

San Francisco!! We live in the Bay Area and have been Niner fans forever!

Watched every SB since SB III ...yes I'm that old.

:lol::lol::lol:

I’ve never watched a Super Bowl game in my life and I think I’m older than you.

I may watch a bit today, since there’s a ‘hometown boy’ playing.

Im looking forward to the adds
Although i heard no horses this year for Budwiser

I'm cheering for the nachos my daughter made.

I'm watching strictly for the ads and halftime show. I'm ambivalent to the rest.

Local guy is an assistant coach for KC and I usually root for the team that hasn’t won recently. Looking forward to the halftime show.

Great halftime show. Love JLo and Shakira.

ETA - Couple hot middle aged women for sure.

Shakira is da bomb. Her hips should be declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

When I told my daughter JLo was older than me, she said "no way, Mom!"

Kids. One day they will be your age. :lol-2: I can't believe Shakira is 43.

Good game closer than the final score indicated.
The commercials all sucked in my opinion.

I didn't watch anything but the halftime show. But I was rooting for the 49ers. Too bad. The halftime show was hot! I had to put down the cookies I was eating lol. I wish Nicky Jam and Maluma was there too:kiss2::kiss2:

These were my two favorite teams. Officiating was terrible! 49ers were the better team but Andy Reid finally got his ring. I'm not mad at it, but the fix was in for the 4th quarter.

The ref was standing right there a few feet away om the touchdown call which is why there was not a camera angle from there. It was a good call.

I agree with that call. Bosa was held the entire game - no call. Kittle's "push" that was called, but come on, that was soft. Garoppolo took a helmut to the chin. The obvious off sides not called in the 4th quarter. I could go on . . .
