Sunburst question

Hi guys,

Does Mark Morrell''s Sunburst setting have a knife edge? I couldn''t quite tell. Also, I''ve done searches to see finger shots of this setting, but does anyone have any they haven''t posted? And does anyone have any wedding band pictures that they''ve worn with this setting?

I''m still waiting for my diamond to get to Bellevue from GOG. The appraiser has been on vacation. But after I see it, and I know I''ll love it, I want to get it to Mark, and get it into a Sunburst!!

not sure on the knife edge question but from pics, it doesn''t look like it has one.
I''ve not see a lot of pics of the sunburst with a wedding band but I''m sure Mark would be happy to answer some of these questions for you. he might even have pics of the setting with the wedding bands he''s designed to go with it.

Oh thanks, mrssalvo. I was sort of thinking the same thing on the knife edge - it really looks like it doesn''t have one. I think I''ll call Mark regarding the bands.

Keep in mind that all of MM''s pieces are custom designed and that you can get whatever sort of band you would like with it.

You are right. I was just sort of thinking of the previous discussions about asking a custom "artist" to make a small change and therefore offending him. I didn''t want to do that.

If you are nice about it and just suggest what you would like in a setting (and ask for his input), I''m sure it will be fine.

Yeah, I know what you mean. So really nicely, I''m going to ask for the Sunburst, no knife edge, in a "delicate" version. Wish me luck!!
