Can someone comment on the following diamonds from whiteflash? One is an Expert selection and the other two is a ACA. I''ve been focusing on an ACA in the F-G SI1 range but have notice that most of the SI1 diamonds have some inclusions that could be noticeable if you look closely at the damond. I wanted to move up from to a VS2 or VS1 but the price moving out of my budget range. I started looking at the Expert Selections to compare and notice that they appear to be pretty good bargains.

Once thing that I did notice was that the AGS report was from 2006. This means that the diamond has been around for over 2 years. If no one has bought it for two years then is there something I should be concerned about?

Please comment?

Hi Smither!

All 3 choices look great to me!
I was going to say that the Expert Selection was an excellent choice, however, the ACA''s you selected are also great. If you have confirmed that the ACA stones are "eyeclean" to your standard, then whichever one you prefer, F or G should be gorgeous, however, if not, then I would, without a doubt, say go with the Expert Selection even though it is a little more spendy. ... The little bit extra will be worth it''s weight in gold if you are concerned about "seeing" inclusions.

Good luck with your search.

Hi Smithers!

These are all excellent choices. The Expert Selection diamonds can be superb picks, often they have missed the ACA title by a whisker, and they are a very popular diamond!

You really can't tell if a diamond is eyeclean according to your comfort level from the magnified pics, so best to ask WF which ones of the SI may suit you in this respect, unless you have already done so. You can't go wrong with the cuts!

Also no worries on the AGS report date, sometimes these diamonds just take a little while to find a home.

Ditto. Every stone needs to be evaluated in person, you simply can''t go by plots and magnified pictures.

I''d personally shoot for the G SI, it''s the cheapest, and the difference in size isn''t even a factor.
