My mom squished her engagement ring in a landscaping accident. What better time for an upgrade. She is currently wearing a yellow gold .75 carat RB with a bagette on either side. Her wedding band is 3 bagettes along the top. She is hoping to stick with this style and she is thinking about a square diamond. I think that an emerald is out of the question. She likes the idea of a radiant. I am drawn to the idea of a BGD "quadex" or princess of hearts. I am however concerned about what this might look like. Any comments? Suggestions? Pic? Much appreciated in advance!

I'm not sure I understand the question. If you want to know what a cut corner square brilliant will look like in a ring I suggest doing a search for PoH, Quadex, Jubilee, Lucida, X-factor, Lucre and look at the pictures posted.

I love them, and so do many others, but only you and your mom can tell if she'll be happy with one.
