Suggestions for Ring/Setting

It looks like I''m most likely going to be purchasing a loose diamond from one of the sites that various users have suggested on this forum. I''m looking for a simple, 18K white gold solitaire setting but I have no idea where to purchase this or take the diamond to have it set.

I live in the DC Metro area and any suggestions for stores for me to visit or reputable online dealers would be greatly appreciated.

I''m pretty sure Quest Jewelers is located in your area so you might make a visit to see them as well.

I was not comfortable with buying a stone from one vendor and then finding someone else to set it. Personal quirk that many PSers don''t have. I bought a stone from JA and bought the setting from them as well. I did see the stone before it was set.

So check out the settings each vendor has and see if you really prefer one and that may help you pick a vendor to work with.
