Jim Hjelm makes divine lace gowns but I dont know if he has in that range..
you''re like my tall sister... i''m petite, but i''m about a size 2/4 on top and 6/8 on the bottom. so i hear you! i wore a marisa gown and would highly recommend you try that line. i ended up with non-lace (my pics are posted today), but i tried on several marisa lace gowns, too, and really loved them. in fact, my final decision was between the one i got (obviously) and one with an identical silhouette, but in lace. hope that helps.Date: 4/28/2008 1:00:18 PM

Musey - the ''feel'' of our wedding...let''s see...
We are having the ceremony in a beautiful stained glass chapel and the reception afterwards at an outdoor estate location overlooking the hills and ocean in Malibu. It will be formal/semi-formal I would say...
I know a-line is the most flattering on me - it seems a lot of the lace dresses out there are trumpet or mermaid shaped, and I need something that flares out a bit more. I saw the Melissa Sweet valentina in a magazine that looked lovely (attaching photo- unfotunately I couldn''t find the more real-sized magazine photo, this one is on an emaciated runway model) The magazine also had the dress without that silly looking boob flower.
I want it to feel pretty and romatic, but I don''t really want beading, just lace. I''m also not a huge fan of the big flowing train (unfotunately, my mom is!) I''m really tall (5''10'') so as long as I''m able to disguise my hips I''m generally pretty happy with how I look.
I''m not kidding when I say I''m pear-shaped though...think size 4/6 up top and size 8/10 for pants...yikes!
