Aloha all ~
I acquired this ring at an estate auction. Im not pleased with the setting that it sits in. The color has been graded as a Q, originally I thought it to be a K. In the current mount the color looks obvious because of the contrast on the sides. Would you be willing to share some thoughts and ideas for a new setting? I do not mind playing up or down the stone color.
Here are the center specifications:
Center Diamond Weight: 2.5 cts.
Diamond Grading Report Shape and Cut: Round Brilliant
Measurements: (approximate): 8.58 x 8.51 x 5.41 mm
Proportions: Very Good
Depth: 63.31%
Table: 59.7%
Girdle: Slightly thick-thick
Culet: Closed
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Clarity: SI-2
Color: Q
Fluorescence: Faint blue (lw)
