Stupid FedEx

My ring was delayed in transit and despite clearing customs this morning, it can''t be delivered today. It is now stuck in another city with no pick ups or deliveries until...

grrrr!!!! fedex lost a package of mine for a month!!! they couldn''t find it because they accidentally scanned the wrong thing or something... and what they told me was "its happens" and im like uhhhhhh....

good thing you know where your''s is tho!! and grr on the 29th but atleast it is before the new year!! haha what is it btw?

It is an upgrade of my diamond, I went up in color from a 1.16ct. K SI1 to a 1.2ct. G SI2.

If it''s any comfort dd, FedEx had a horrible day nation wide yesterday because of icy conditions in a good percentage of our country. My "guaranteed by 10:30 am" delivery arrived at 5:15 pm. I sat in the house dressed and waiting to accept my package, then dash out the door to do some last minute things. I sat around til 2:00 then said, oh well..... I''ve got to go. They showed right as we were leaving for dinner. Winter is a rough season.

Thanks everyone! I was so mad because they didn''t tell me when I spoke to them in the morning about the customs stuff... so I sat around all day waiting and then called at 4pm to be like, What''s up??

And THAT was when they told me

Gemgirl That was what they said the problem was, the ring was late getting into Canada and so it never stood a chance of getting on the van to come to my city, which is a boat ride away from where it is now

The days are going fast because family is visiting and DH is off work. So its all good! I am trying to savour the anticipation.
