Hello, I have a few question regarding the stuller solstice setting. I have searched the forums and I see that there are differences between the knife edge and the bombe settings. Although I have read all of them I am still confused in the white gold or platnium in the stuller catalog ( I will try to include the pictures but am not very computer savy) could someone please tell me which is the bombe and which is the knife edge as well as point out the differences. I can only tell a slight tapering where the stone is. My next question is I really like Ame's e ring and she mentions a 2 mm comfort fit is what she wished she would have gotton instead of filing her ring down is that avalibe in the bombe or knife edge or both. Also no jelwers carry this setting saying that you can order it, is this normal I would really love to try it on my hand first. I am pretty sure this is what I want, but it would sure be nice to see it in real life. Lastly does the the process go like this you order the shank? (is that the part that goes around your finger) and then decide on the head ?? ( the part that actually holds the stone) What is my stone is off sized like 1.21 carats can they make it work? Is it best to buy the stone and the setting from the same place and have them put it all together for you? What if you don't like it can you send it back? I am sorry that I am so unknowlegeable any help is much appreiciated. And please excuse my poor spelling. Thanks Leslie
