Stuller settings avail to all?

I was trying to buy my setting from a ps vender but to be honest their settings don''t float my boat and the one I did like from WF well they just never called me back so I went to a local AGS shop and their settings don''t do me right either.

The guy did say I could go online and look at Stuller.com. I did and dig this one. Anyone know anything about Stuller quality?

Good quality mass production.
I usualy have my setting guy go over there stuff and polish it up some.
Nice thing it that it starts out a little blocky so there is planty of material to work with.

For the price I consider it to be good stuff.

It isnt in the WF custom class but with a little work it can be very nice for a very nice price.

Any jeweler who has been in business 2 years and provides 2 trade references can buy from stuller.
In my area its rare for a store not to use their settings.

yep, most jewelers have some stuller pieces in stock or can order them rather easily.

Thanks Guys! I can't afford wf custom anyhoo nor do I like them. I choose a 600.00 buck number from wf which is probably why they forgot to phone me back. And lately Tacori is getting such bad press I was scared away from them. Hard to find Stuller platinum

prices as they hide them from regular folk.

I think almost any jeweler can get stuller settings....the price they charge you might vary, and since you can''t see the prices, you might want to check around....You can submit an inquiry to price a stuller seting on the GOG website under settings...........But I guess you are having it set locally????

Take the stuller part number and do a search for it on www.google.com
A lot of times it will show up on an internet vendors website and give you an idea of pricing :}

I am open to anyone setting providing:

1. They know what they are doing and will do it

2. They have a setting and two bands plat bands we like "most don''t- enter Stuller"
3. They will take responsibilty for the stone "few will". This local shop claims they will take responsibilty.

haha Stormy I did that allready! Google does rock u know. I know we are both internet hounds and can sniff anything out. I found the setting and band and phoned for prices but they were not in. I would rather go with a local or ps guy rather than these people I never heard of anyhoo.

But it does give you a ballpark price if you happen to find it that way you know if someone is trying to charge way to much.
I dont expect internet pricing at most b&m''s but 2x like Iv been quoted before on a setting would be out of line.
So its nice to get a ballpark figure :}

Ditto what Canuck Gal said- contact Wink. Patty here just acquired a gorgeous Stuller Solstice from him.
My local jeweler has made me several items with Stuller parts, he pulls out his catalog, I point at what looks good, he makes it happen. The prices are very reasonable and the parts solid and well made.

My cousin got her stuller setting from a local B&M store. Hers is 14kt gold but I was surprised that it looks and feels more expensive. She''s very happy with it.

I would try to find a local guy to get it for you if they can give you a good price. I think it would be a great way to build a relationship with someone whom you might need in the future for cleanings, repairs etc.
