What would strong blue fluorescence due to an ideal cut I colored stone....I know medium would be best but would it dramatically worsen the look of the stone???

I can''t believe how much wonderful information is on this site...

Linda I have strong blue in my 1.76J RB and I think it makes it appear whiter. I do not see any ill effects at all! Alot of people love strong blue.
An I with it I am sure would be very lovely.

There are high chances are that it will be fine..., although a decision should be made on a stone per stone basis..., and should be checked in different lighting environments.

I have seen many inconsistencies with Fluo. grading by quite a few Labs.

SB is kewl as long as it isnt over blue.

Storm, some people love the OverBlue effect...

I think you meant SB is cool as long as it has no hazy-oily-cloudy effect!!

OverBlue can easily be a Diamond that looks white in shaded natural light..., and in some extreme instances could have a "fancy blue" illusion/appearance.

Over blue means blue white means very very icy.
This stone can not be that good because it is I.

Only DEF stones can truly be over blue

The chances you have a problem stone are less than 2%

I have an H 2ct sq emerald with strong blue. I love it and it sparkles like crazy!

I think strong blue fl in an I stone is lovely!! I have an H with strong blue and I love it. For the most part it''s hardly noticeable, but I love the look in sunlight. It''s very rare that flour can interfere with performance.

It sounds like it would be a lovely stone
