I purchased the ring on Monday... but never noticed if the salesman removed the tag before boxing it up or not.

The box and ribbon are done so nicely, I don''t want to open it as I would never be able to redo it as well.

Would this tag typically be removed? I don''t want an embarrassing of the tag still being on. :)

I''d bet they removed the tag. Every item I''ve ever bought from Tiffanys as a gift has had its tag removed prior to being packaged.

Safe thing is to take it back, have them re wrap it for you. My guess is that the price tag was removed. But will take a minute to be sure.

I highly doubt the tag is left on the ring, especially when it is being gift-wrapped. Ususally it is removed and attached to the sales receipt.

Stranger things have happened, but it would be incredibly unusual for Tiffany''s to make a mistake like that.

I would bet a lot of money that you are safe, but as suggested, a quick trip to the store would put all doubts to rest.

I agree, if you have time, take it back and open it and have them rewrap it. I''m sure they removed the tap too, but better safe than sorry

I am quite sure that they did remove the tag, but I also agree that stranger things have happened.

Yeah, I''m guessing they removed the tag as well... I mean if I really want to check without opening it, I could always put it through the X-Ray machine at work.
