Hi all, so with the craziness of the last couple weeks (mainly giving birth to a little girl, yay), I haven’t bought any stocking gifts. What are some good ideas for DH and a 3 year old girl? Thank you!!!

Little girl stuff
They grow up so fast these days and seem to grow out of things too

A pack of happy family cards so you can play with your daughter - do thet still even have these ?

My husband's stocking is getting a couple tubes of Marvis toothpaste, some of his favourite chocolate, a spare USB cable for his phone, a couple of nice pens, new socks ...

For a three year-old, maybe some of those tiny tubs of Play-Doh, stickers, a tube of animal figurines, hair accessories, fun socks ...

Stocking stuffer ideas for your DH: Fun ties for your dh? Chocolates? Is he a tool guy? A Leatherman multi tool is a suggestion my dh just shared with me for you. If he is a tool guy. Amazon gift card. Stainless steel travel mug. Magnetic hands free work light. 10 in 1 multitool keychain. Pocket screwdriver. O'keefe's working man's hand cream. Boxer shorts.

For the 3 year old: small stuffed animals. Silly Putty. Haha my dh suggested a newborn puppy. LOL he is thinking about what I would love . Not a good gift for a 3 yo unless momma and daddy are on board. Fun rings? (Can never get them started too soon right?). Lego mini set. Crayons. Yo-Yo.

For my husband, I'm getting him some cologne and chocolate for his stocking. Sephora has a favorite sampler set where he can sample a bunch of different ones and then select his favorite for a full-sized bottle. It's $65 but well worth it. I also like the fragrances from Zara, and those colognes are around $20-$30. If that's too much, a rollerball would be much less. I also like the Jack Black lip balms which are around $7. I also get him some of the regular bath and body things he uses regularly.

My mom always goes to the super fancy chocolate shop and gets everyone chocolate figures that have to do with their hobbies. Sometimes she custom orders them, I think? They’re some of the most beautiful AND delicious chocolates I’ve ever had!

One year she got everyone colorful leather luggage tags in favorite colors - she thought it was uninspired but we use them and can always tell which bags are ours at the airport. I think they were by Leatherology.

I always put in those “mystery figures” that are toys that are in a box or bag so you don’t know what they are. I do the Star Wars ones but they have Disney princesses, Frozen characters, etc. Just kind of fun because everyone can open it and see what they get, then you can give them all to your daughter to play with.

Do you know those tsum tsum stuffed animals? Those would make a good stocking stuffer for a kid.

Number one hit with my 3 y/,o in the advent calendar so far: lip gloss with glitter and flavour in a cute package... She's actually sleeping with it in her little hand as I'm writing. Lol

Otherwise I do lots of books, cute hair accessories, some kids jewelry

For my little (nearly 4 but still 3) in the stocking goes various candy, a new electric spin toothbrush (to offset the candy), crayons, a small action figure...etc!

I got my husband alcoholic chocolates (I think they’re whisky), a flask, some small bottles of whiskey (he likes alcohol can you tell?), and his fave style of shirt he’s too lazy to go out and buy for himself. He put event tickets in mine.

As for the kiddo we did these crayola bubble bath crayon things for my nephew one year. They let you draw in the tub and doesn’t ruin it in the process. It might also change the color of the water but don’t quote me on that one.... we also did an assortment of rubber duckies along with getting him a monogrammed stocking with his name on it. We got my niece something as well (and a matching stocking) after she was born but I can’t remember what we put in it. Maybe build a bear gift cards? I know we got them those...

Oh i remembered something mum used to do for us
She put fruit in our stockings - in the hope we wouldn't just eat chocolate before her and dad got up for breakfast

Its summer here so we have all the yummy summer fruit at Christmas but i think it was something my grandma used to do in less affluent times

To this day my aunty puts cans of fanta in my cousins' stockings
my oldest cousin must be at least 55 by now !
Im not sure the meaning behind it but my cousins all exspect it so its kind of fun

Hot wheels
I love them
Ive been known to buy them with the groceries just for myself
Little girls like cars too

I love world market for stocking stuffers

For DH, stainless steel straws with a little storage container (he drinks iced coffee on the go).

For kids, mine always enjoyed crossword puzzle books or the like, mosaic coloring books and markers, a deck of cards, Spot It, silly putty or slime, one of my daughters loves bridal magazines because she loves to ogle the gorgeous dresses, small puzzles, earrings or rings.

Good luck! Stockings are my favorite part of Christmas... I struggle a bit with them but my mom always knocked them out of the park. It was our tradition growing up that I could open my stocking any time I woke up (like 2am, 3am, because I was *that kid* who couldn't go to sleep and woke up early and anxious). I would get up and quietly open my stocking at these crazy hours by myself, savoring every last bit of it. Loved the quiet magic of it!!

For girls... I do nail polish, roll on perfumes, make up beauty blenders, cute jewelry, peel off face masks, make up, etc.
For boys... I struggle too! Bring on the ideas please!

My kids do not want or eat candy (how did this happen?????)

What age? 12-14 is different than 15-17 which is different from 18-20.

In general: chap stick, phone charger, phone case, nicer candy, hair goodies, perfume/cologne, wallet, pen, adult coloring stuff, bath goodies...

13 year old boy - very mature for his age, likes sports
16 year old tomboy girl - not into girly-girl stuff like makeup, etc

I'm at a loss............

That helps!

Sports stuff like bobble heads, coins with players, t-shirts for teams, inexpensive tickets (around here, you can get baseball tickets to a local team for $10 each and hockey not much more).

Tomboy girl: does she like to have her own tools to do stuff? I love having my tool purse with basic hand tools and things. Science things like Raspberry Pi sets are fun if she is into computer/electronic/etc. (If she in interested in computers/robotics/etc, the Raspberry Pi is awesome for beginners on up through advanced and the sets let a beginner copy/paste and get something cool but inexpensive sensors and other add ons allow more and more advanced projects with almost no limit on possibilities -- which is also fun because you have an endless supply of sensors and add ons to give in future.)

Maybe phone things too? Those circle things people put on their phones? AirPods? Wireless chargers? Most teens love technology/ their phones in particular and the accessories to go with them.

The ultimate in stocking stuffers
