Stinky shoe etiquette advice

If you're me, it's just beeeeeeeeeeeegging to be tripped over while you're carrying a heavy stack of packages and can't look down to spot the treacherous thing.

I just read this thread and was going to suggest spraying the shoes with air freshener and then leaving the can behind. I'm glad the email worked, though!
