OK... I want diamonds in the band... I prefer pave, single shared prongs (or double shared if the ring still has a scalloping effect on the edge) or bezel set eternity bands. I want fairly thin bands so that I can have a thin pink band between the e-ring and w-band- A subtle pink band I could wear alone while Sign Language interpreting because it would not be flashy/distracting. I love the stacking rings but realistically I wouldn''t wear them much as RHR... I would get more use out of them by changing out a thin center band on my LH. I want an Asscher center (or could have them as sides) but don''t want to lose out on having some brilliant sparkle in there as well.
So... what do you all think?
Ritani setting
This Ritani setting has small rb sides, but they blend together with the band so perhaps they would not overpower the Asscher. It also has a matching band. What do you all think about it with an Asscher center? What about with a thin pink diamond/rose gold band between?
Leon Mege solitaire I LOVE his work. But if I want brilliant sparkle, I think maybe the micropave is not enough sparkle?
Leon Mege 3-stoneWhat about an Asscher center with Jubilee sides? I know most PS''ers here do not like an Asscher center with non-step sides... but maybe being a Jubilee which has some "step-ish" qualities that might make a difference? OR a Jubilee center with Asscher sides? How small can you go with Asschers with them still appearing obviously as Asschers and not so small that it wouldn''t matter if they were Asscher or whatever step-cut? If I got the Jubilee center, I would probably go with about 1c., if the Asscher center, more like 1.2
Any feedback is SOOOOOOOO appreciated. Sorry for the rambling... but that is just like a second of my obsessions since trying to make a decision on this ring. BUT I am making some progress!
OH... another quick question... is there any reason to have diamonds going around the band 3/4 of the way rather than stopping at 1/2 way around? I know many do not go all the way around to leave room for sizing... but it just looks so odd to me for it to leave that last 1/4 "undone." It seems the design between the 1/2 - 3/4 area would be hidden- any reason so many go 3/4 rather than 1/2?
OK... done rambling. Sorry
I soooo want to decide.
