Any expert opinions on this stone? http://www.whiteflash.com/aca_princess/Whiteflash-ACA-Princess-cut-diamond-2150718.htmnks! I"m after as big a look as possible from a 1.5c, lots of sparkle and good light reflection. Am I wrong to be concerned that this table on this is smallish? I had my heart set on a 1.6 c diamond but didn''t act fast enough and it was sold! Will there be a noticeable difference in size with a 1.5 v 1.6? Any thought, comment, ect... are all appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Its a lovely diamond and you wouldn't notice much if any difference between it and a 1.60 ct, the table size is also fine, no worries at all.

If you wouldn't mind lowering the color a bit, this one would get you more size, for less. In a very well cut stone, warmth is masked a bit. This would still face up nice, bright and white. However, I understand if you are not comfortable lowering color!

Looks good. Better put it on hold soon before history repeats itself.

As far as the table goes...I found in my search that I preferred the look of a table size closer to 70%. It certainly is personal preference though, you might like the look of a smaller.

Not a problem re lowering color unless it really would appear as such...what do you mean by "warmth is masked a bit?" I really thought the way to go was higher color, lower clarity but can''t seem to find that combo-yet? I really like the 1.7 c and the lower price. Of course, now I see reasons to like each of these stones. How does one decide? Any thoughts? Thanks. OH and should I be concerned that this stone has been in the inventory since 2006-why hasn''t someone snatched it up if it''s such a good diamond?

I'll tell you how I decided.... I just bought mine

I decided what was the most important thing to me...size and performance. Color was a close second.
I like the GOG stone listed above, but may consider holding out for an H color SI1. Because I am sensitive to color, but don't want to spend more on clarity. Get what I am saying. You just have to decide what you feel are "your" quatlities.

So if you really want size, I think you can definitly find a larger diamond than you originally posted with a slight dip in color and clarity without being able to tell.

After a couple more days of researching, I was hoping to get some feedback on this stone http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5817/ Thanks for any comments. I wonder about an I color and also a thick girdle? Do I need to request an ASSET for you all to really assess this Princess. I''ve looked at so many stones I am beginning to get really dazed and confused. If you have any other suggestions, please post for me to look at. I am hoping for 1.5-1.7 C, D-H color, nothing lower than SI1 and hope to keep price around 10K - thanks thanks and more thanks to everyone for your expertise.

I think that a really nice stone. I think I color would look good and as far as the thick girdle I think that is better in a princess cut bc they are more susceptible to chipping bc of the points. You do not need to request an ASET here bc it is already provided and its looks great.

Also I did find this... http://www.whiteflash.com/aca_princess/Whiteflash-ACA-Princess-cut-diamond-2143950.htm

EDT: One more thing, have you thought to look at excel diamonds. They have AGS0 princess cuts and provide ASET images aswell, from what I hear they have really competitive prices. I think you should include them in your search aswell bc they might have more diamonds in your specs to look at
