So I''ve been reading and reading and reading on this forum for about a week now and the information here is priceless. I''m obviously no diamond expert, but I think I know as much (or more) than most of the people who work at the local B&M stores already!
So... what I''m looking for is a classic setting, something that is fairly simple. I''m hoping to get about a 1ct. (maybe slightly undersized .90-.99) round brilliant stone for the center stone. From what I''ve seen so far, I think I''m looking for a H&A or AGS0 Ideal cut, I or better color, and eye clean (probably SI1 or better).
Here are some settings that I like:

http://www.jamesallen.com/products/item_58-874_build.asp?module=setting
http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/Diamond-Settings/Sleek-Line-Pave_1184.htm#
I may also go with a traditional tiffany style setting solitaire, but at first, I''d like to try and find something with a bit more going on
Any help with finding THE center stone or any similar settings would be appreciated. I was going to try and buy locally, but I doubt that''s going to happen. I do have one last hope for that, as I''m meeting with a local jeweler tomorrow morning who was referred to me by a friend.
