Square H&A - Inclusions (Crystal+Feather near Edge Vs Cloud)

Hey everyone,

I recently started on my quest to find the "one" diamond for my proposal ring. So after some research, I finally decided on the Square H&A cut and was sent some information from my local jeweler.

Was hoping to gather any feedback from anyone who had gone through the same process before and could offer some advice.

1) How can I review the "performance" of the diamond (understand that the Holloway Cut Advisor does not apply for fancy cuts)
2) Inclusions, which is worse? Crystal and Feather near Edge or a 2 Clouds on the face?

Would really appreciate any input. Cheers.

1) these are both AGS ideal cut...AGS has already reviewed the performance for you. Square H&A are cut really well, no worries there!

2) these are both VS1 so I don't think it matters? since you are shopping locally ask your jeweler and they can advise...or just look at them since you can see

would you mind sharing the name of the jeweler? As far as I know the only place that carried the Square H&A besides GOG just went out of business...but I understand if you don't want to give away your location!

ETA...I meant the square H&A cushion which you are not posting about. what does your jeweler call this cut?

also...how do you plan to set it?
