The Summer 2010 girls have a thread so I thought I''d start one for all the lovely ladies getting married next spring. I''m only 7.5 months out...eeek!

Here''s what we have:
Venue with caterer
Photographer
E-pics taken
DJ
Officiant
Dress
Shoes
Bridesmaid dresses picked out - don''t think anyone has ordered yet though.
STD designed - waiting on paper samples to work on printing/assembling
hotel blocked for OOT guests
RD venue decided on - don''t know if FMIL has booked yet or not

Here''s just a few things we have to do:
Florist/decide what to outsource and what to DIY
Cake/candy buffet decisions
Pick out grooms/groomsmen suits - we know they are going to wear grey suits, but FI needs to organize them and get everyone to buy them
Also pick out ties/shirts for groomsmen
Design/make invitations
Dress fittings
My accessories - veil, jewelry
Menu - go for official tasting and pick food
Wedding bands
Meet with officiant and design ceremony
FI needs to compose ceremony music
Pick songs for special dances as well as other DJ lists
Programs/placecards/table numbers/guest book/etc.
Gifts for parents/wedding party
Hair/makeup trial and booking for wedding
Honeymoon planning
Marriage License


I''m sure there are a LOT more things that we need to do that I haven''t even thought of yet! I''ve been in a lull for a while where I have made a lot of the big decisions and haven''t really known what to work on next. My goal right now is to get the STDs out by the middle of October (6.5 month mark). Hopefully I will have some paper samples waiting when I get home today!

How is everyone else doing?

put a deposit on the dress
found a venue (need to confirm)

My wedding is in March 2010.. does that count? (it''s just turned Autumn here so i guess it''s spring where you girls are?)

Grooms Attire (waiting for after xmas sales)
Bridesmaid and Flower Girls Outfits (both still growing so we don''t want to get them too far out)
Shoes
Jewellery
Honeymoon Acc
Telling my parents that we have a date.
And everything else that you need to do for a wedding!

I am in a bit of a lull at the moment.. since we are having the wedding at home we are renovating like mad so maybe once we get a bit more of that done i can get back to the wedding.

You''ll be fine! I know plenty of people who have planned a wedding from start to finish in only a few months.

Hmmm....we are probably getting married the first weekend of April (maybe the 2nd?), and we have a lot to do still--or, should I say, one big, big, HUGE thing and lots of other things?

Done:
US reception venue (deposit & menu decided)
DRESS!!!

wedding shoes (2 pairs)
UK reception at J's parents' house
music playlists for dinner & dancing
website with travel details for guests

Need to do:
***immigration paperwork*** so that we can register and get a date for the ceremony
renew my passport (need to do soon!)
music selection for the ceremony (!)
J's suit
honeymoon
rings!! (shopping today

I emailed my makeup artist to book a date for my trial a few days ago and i have come home to an email stating... "oh i was going to email you this week, sorry i can''t do your makeup anymore because i am starting a new job..."

She was like my 3rd choice 3 months ago, oh man.
