DH and I saw an octopus while snorkeling on Maui, at Kapalua Bay.
We weren't sure at first if it was an octopus, because his coloring matched the rock he was sitting on, and he was curled up, kinda like this squid.
We watched him for a while, and he was watching us, with big eyes. He seemed to change color as he moved from rock to rock.
And then looked up at us and blinked! So cool! Octopus have horizontal pupils, like goats.
