Ok I know this is a live auction so I hope I'm not posting something someone is actually going to buy....but come on- I mean really?!

I'm actually debating this because I love halloween and I thought it would be a fun piece....and then I remember that I HATE spiders!!!

Perhaps a good xmas gift for my SIL?!

I'm with you, Sarah. Do. Not. Like. Spiders. Eeeuwww. That one's sort of cute, though, I gotta admit. Not cute enough to buy, though. I have 2 lizard brooches, love them, and a 14K Siberian Husky brooch, but don't think spiders are in my future!

I agree with Niel - the spider is quite gothic-looking, although I like certain whimsical animal/bug pieces myself.

Neil I'm not sure what is up with Dover but they had a gecko and then a monkey cuff bracelet up for auction not to long ago. I was going to start a thread in CS or here with some of them (or any other animal theme jewelry).

oh gosh id love that.... I wish i would have seen the gecko. My dream would this brooch. I have a paralyzing fear of preying mantises . So for that reason i feel like this is the best way to face my fears
