Hi everyone,

This is a Nigerian spessartite from Gemburionline. It is 3,52 carats and 8.4 x 8.4 x 6.1 mm. It is my first spess that doesn''t have a hint of brown in any light but is a true orange. I love it.

This stone is very educational for me in terms of more and less saturation. These pictures don''t do the stone justice, but in comparison the more and less saturated stones are obvious, in my opinion.

In one stone, the "shadows" are brown and in the other they are a dark orange.

I love these orange puppies!

I''m afraid all of my pictures show brown

but in real life, there is none in the native cut trillion.

Lovely stones and an educational thread for potential newbies venturing into the universe of orange

MT,
I suspect your new spess looks more brown in your photos than IRL because the white balance might be off. Can you adjust it on your camera?

As for all three, I agree that your new trillion is the most saturated, the other trillion is the second most saturated, and the round is the least.

Great find!!! I''m so glad you''re thrilled with it, and I happen to love nice Nigerian spessartites. Are you planning on setting it soon?

talk about sweet..I like ...very much!!!!!

Very pretty spess!!

Very very nice collection!! Thanks for the photos for comparisons. It''s just so HARD to get the real color to show up in photos. TFS!!
