Please let me know your thoughts on the quality of this diamond for an engagement ring. I got a great price but have some doubts.
1.53 carats, F, SI1, Very good
GIA
Polish and Symmetry = Good
Flor = medium blue
60.9 depth, 55% table
34.5 and 40.8 = > HCA of 1.2
Some of my potential concerns are:
- fluorescence - I thought I wanted none or possibly faint
- cut - all the articles mention ideal but I don't see that as a GIA rating, I assume Ideal - Excellent. So does this mean that this one is less than ideal?
- Polish and Symmetry of good seems low to me, is it?
What do you think this should cost?
What changes might you make, if any?
