Missy, maybe your DH will eventually be more like my SO. Here's our conversation on Friday:
Me: you are SO going to roll your eyes at me, but just listen to this (I read the ad in the paper aloud)
SO: do they have any girls?
Me: I don't know.
SO: what color are they?
Me: I don't know.
SO: well, call 'em and see!
I call, they have a gray and white girl, SO says, "okay, when you get there, find out what they are feeding her. Call me and let me know, and I'll go right away so you don't have to stop toget food and leave the baby in the hot car.". So, I guess it's good that we are on the same page with the animals. Keep working on your DH!!!
Yssie, I'm interested to see what color Nora's eyes are going to be. Right now they are an amberish shade. I admire you, there's no way I can step foot in a shelter. I'd come home with as many as I could get in my car. I'll bet the little one you cuddled was a sweetie! I'll tell Amelia she wins on the eyes!
