Hey guys. I don''t ever ask for dust but I am coming out tonight to ask you if you can spare a bit, please send some my Dad''s way.

He has been sick for a while, nothing huge but ongoing medical problems, but now it''s got much more serious. I found out today it looks like he might have bowel cancer. Mum just called me now, at 1.30am in the morning to say he is being taken to hospital by ambulance and he''s really sick. I don''t have all the details as I am 3500km and two states away.

I am so heartsick. I am so far away and there is nothing I can do about it. I am terrified that I am not going to see my Dad again. I havn''t seen him since my wedding five months ago. When someone near to you is sick, it makes you realise how much you have to tell them, to make sure they realise just how special a person they are too you.

So, if you can keep him in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed I would really appreciate it tonight.

Mum called this morning, they are doing a mountain of tests, on just about every system in his body. They don''t know what''s going on at this stage. Now they are talking about his pancreas too. It''s so scary not knowing what''s going on and being so far away. I will keep you guys posted.
