And TGal, I lived in Spain for several months and then went to Panama, and the Spanish was SO different. I could barely understand anybody in Panama. And Argentine Spanish is so different from anything I'm used to - I thought my friend was speaking Italian!

I thought it was weird that cortar wasn''t conjugated and she used en la actualidad instead of hoy. Usted is conjugated the same as el or ella but I guess in my classes we didn''t really use usted a ton so it looked a little off. I really need to brush up on my Spanish!Date: 4/27/2010 6:35:00 PM
