Wedding songs....

thanks to the ladies on here, i have decided that i will dance with my mother at my wedding for the father bride dance. what i am now left to ponder is, what song should we dance to? my mother is a rock and roll kind of lady, and so am i. my song with fi is 311''s i will always love you, not exactly traditional.

i don''t mind a traditional song with mom, but i have no clue where to start looking! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I just went through the same thing trying to find a song to dance with my dad to since I didn''t want something especially sappy. The best I came up with is an Eagles song called I Wish You Peace. Good luck hunting a rock song!

Actually, I posted this suggestion on Sabine''s thread, but I think it''d work really well for yours! Sheryl Crow did a cover of Guns & Roses'' "Sweet Child O'' Mine" that is sweet but rock and roll at the same time--it''s on YouTube. You should take a listen to it!
