''I Gotta Feeling'' by Black Eyed Peas

The song from SNL ''I''m on a Boat.'' The bar my friends and I go to most played this song once or twice a night for at least 6 months. After awhile you can''t help but sing along.
YES!

My guilty pleasure song is ''Ignition--The Remix'' (R. Kelly.) It''s like the best pop song EVAR.

YES! And my other favorite song in that genre is "Let''s Get Married" Remix by Jagged Edge.

Dang! The one night I have plans!

I find that the worst ear worms are on Top 40 stations. My favorite one in the last 6 months or so is by David Archuletta featuring Akon (I think...). Don''t know the name.

''Forever'' by Chris Brown. I hate myself for loving that song.

I don''t even try to not love Lady GaGa. Even my pretentious hipster friends can''t deny the GaGa.
I used to really dislike Lady Gaga. I thought she was just ridiculous and her songs were manufactured. Then a friend (ahem Thing2...) mentioned somewhere that her live show was amazing. One of DH''s MALE friends is really into her so I asked if he wanted to go. The. Show. Was. Amazing!! I have a lot of respect for her musical ability and her voice is phenomonal. I will admit that the lyrics to some of her songs are rather interesting. She is the only thing on my iPod (well, iPhone) right now

Bad Romance
Poker Face
Waking up in Vegas
Bedrock LOLOLOLOLOL
Took me forever to realize that she is actually singing about fantasizing about women while she is *with* a man in this song.

lady gaga. I didn''t like her and now I do...what can I say?

Lady Gaga - I used to hate her music, then it grew on me, and now I''d probably KILL to see her in concert.

And ''I Gotta Feelin'''' by the Black Eyed Peas for sure.

I actually found that learning to dance for our wedding made me appreciate ''danceable'' songs much more than I would have before I appreciated the beat!!
Exactly these.

I have been sucked in by Gaga.

Lady Gaga has gotten to me, too.

Most of these have "got" me too, I hate to admit. EXCEPT John Mayer and Fireflies. Luckily I seem to be immune.

Gaga has transcended. She's outdoing Madonna. She's going to be around for a long time I think. Plus she can actually sing- when it's just her and a piano she has a lovely voice.

ETA: Aw thanks Deco, now I can't get Evacuate the Dancefloor out of my head.

ETAA: Taylor Swift. I've just given in and I now sing her songs proudly.

I got my swim trunks
And my flippy-floppies
I''m flippin burgers, you at Kinko''s
straight flipping copies!
Some friends of mine just got married and actually had that song as the wedding party song because we all sang it so much. True story. LOL.
We played it at our wedding (though not until later in the night). Love it.

I''m on a boat and it''s going fast and
I got a nautical themed, pashmina afghan

I''m a classical music kind of guy.
I admit to being a music snob, but Lady GagGag really knows you to grab you with a video and music.

We took a boat ride on a wooden schooner the day after our wedding with a bunch of people and DH had apparently ordered an "I''m on a boat" tee shirt to wear as a joke. Unfortunately it didn''t arrive in time for the boat ride. Of course I had never heard the song up until he told me about it, so the joke would have been lost on his new wife.

I''m ashamed to say that I''ve taken it far beyond just "On a Boat"...Lonely Island cracks me up. I''ve always been a fan of Lady GaGa though--I think she''s absolutely amazing! Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus both snuck in without my permission while we were in the UK; they kept playing "3" and "Party in the USA" everywhere we went, and while I''m usually not a fan of either of them, those two songs triggered some kind of nostalgia for my home country, LOL! My worst ones though are old 80s songs. I get "Girl You Know It''s True" by Milli Vanilli stuck in my head ALL. THE. TIME. I mean really, how sad is that?! Oh, and I know every single word to MC Hammer''s "U Can''t Touch This" by heart...something tells me I should slink away shamefully right about now!

"Stars Are Blind" by Paris Hilton. It is so, so embarrassing that I love this song, but I do. I still have it on my iPod a few years later.

I have really tried to resist the force of Lady Gaga, but I''ve determined it''s impossible. She''s everywhere. And she has the catchiest songs around.

"I''m on a Boat" is amazing. I unabashedly love that song. Our DJ played it at our wedding last summer, and all our friends went absolutely nuts. They''re still talking about how awesome it was to hear "I''m on a Boat" at a wedding.

I cannot believe I'm about to admit this:

If U Seek Amy - Britney Spears (Talk about trashy!)

But I love it and I can't help but sing along any time the song comes on.

THIS surprises me!

Okay, I need your help, Princesss. I can't find a good radio station down here, so I either wind up listening to NPR or 102.9. Some days I just want to rock out in my car on my way to/from work, and I can't. Any good stations here?

ETA: To answer your question Sabine, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry songs always get me singing. I know there are others but I can't think of them right now.

There are NONE. I swear! Well...maybe 104.somethingorother (maybe 103.7). I rarely listen to the radio. Mostly I rely on friends to tell me what''s good, and then I put it on my iPod. I just put together a gym/rock out playlist today, actually. With spring coming up, I need roll-the-windows-down-and-crank-the-music-up music.

That''s what I thought, P. Thanks anyway!

If you guys are going to talk R Kelly, you have to include the vintage "Down Low"! If you haven''t heard it, see if you can find the video on YouTube, seriously!

I know and could probably sing the words to every single son mentioned in this thread! Some of them I just flat out like (Lady GaGa unabashed fan here), but I''m with a lot of you on never wanting to admit liking some of them. Well, except the Ke$ha song and the BEP "I''ve got a feeling." I change the station when I hear these now, they annoy me too much.

Hoku- Perfect Day.

Any of you who have seen Legally Blonde know what song I''m talking about. Cheese-tastic!

You just can't deny the Gaga. She is AMAAAAAAAAZING! And her live show is one of the best shows I've ever been to. Dare I say THE best? (And in college all I used to do was go to shows so I've been to tons!) I was GEEKING OUT. My sister kept looking at me and laughing because I was like a little girl at a Jonas Brothers show!

Don''t Cha by the Pussycat Dolls. The lyrics horrified me at first, but the song is catchy.

Lori

I have a weird relationship with pop songs. Our rock/alternate radio station is seriously pathetic, so when we''re driving anywhere I turn on the pop mix radio station. Has anyone watched the ''How I Met Your Mother'' episode when Ted and Marshall are driving in a snow storm and the song 500 Miles (The Proclaimers) is the only song on the tape and they go through phases of either singing it or hating it? Yeah. Same here. The first time Lady Gaga plays I''ll sing along and just barely tolerate it. The second time I get frustrated and want to pull my hair out. The third time it plays, I turn the radio off.

The freakin'' Numa Numa song... One of my students LOVED it and it''s really gotten stuck in my head, like a tick or some other parasite.

The video made me shoot DP out of my nose the first time I saw it. T-Pain made me fall out. PS- have you all seen the other videos they made? BF made the joke "you don''t cry and I doubted you had tear ducts until we watched these videos" I totally had tears running down my face.
