I want to make a PS-inspired playlist!

Post any and all songs you can think of that mention jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, pearls, etc. If the reference to sparklies is deeply buried deep in the song, please tell what/where it is.)

I'll start:

"Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" by Paul Simon

"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by The Beatles

"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top
(He mentions wearing stick pins!)

"Aicha" by Khaled
The lyrics are:

im really glad
a lot of fans dont appreate the happier songs
want a man to always be singing the sad stuff when so many song writters no real surprise actually grow up and want to move on from writting about being a moody teenager

(which thank goodness had been in the news a few weeks earlier othewise i wouldn't have known it at all

he changed a few words to make this work
long ago i was the next big thing
and referimg to himself as King B
honestly it was priceless
everently Lord was so overjoyed to know he had covered her song she cried from happiness

Ahhhh that's SO COOL! I never knew he did that cover, thank you for sharing! It's great, definitely his spin on it. I have to tell you that when I saw you on this thread, it jogged my memory about Lourde's song because I knew she's from NZ! xoxo
