I have an esoteric interest.
There is a company that sells specialized stuff for pursuing that interest.
Most of it is made in very small quantities, and would not be on Amazon.
It's very expensive, but top quality which is essential for this work.
I've been researching diving deeper into this complex field.
If I take the plunge I'll need to buy several things, but I have to learn lots in order the buy the right stuff for my needs.
Unusual for me, I must have given this company my email & cell because every time I surf their site I get a msg offering me some sale or deep discount on their $60 1-yr membership, which includes free shipping.
I've never responded to their spam but pay attention, and the more I ignore them the better the offers get.
Clearly they have a fancy algorithm tracking me.
Though not buying, I've been spending a lot of time on their site for a couple years now.
Well, today their offer got impossible to resist, and it lasts a full week.
Free $60 membership AND 20% discount on my first purchase of at least $150, and I'll probably be spending about a grand.
$260 savings.
I'm gonna bite, but their algorithm must even understand I need that week to assemble what they know is a large purchase.
Now I really need to get into intensive research mode to assemble everything I'm gonna need to get 20% on the entire lot.

This is the first time I've been glad someone is spying on my Internet use.
Sorry to be mysterious, but being a stickler about privacy and safety, I won't post the hobby, or the website.
There's a small possibility that could provide a piece of the puzzle useful for getting my ID.
After all this IS a diamond site, and this IS the Internet.
