Someone please tell me where I can find this exact ring or a ring just like it. The band is just a thin white gold but I would be okay with silver too. I don't know anything about rings. Can comeone please tell me the style and cut and shape and how big the diamonds are? Thank you all so much
I did a Google image search for this but didn't come up with an exact match. Can you tell us where you found the image? If it was Pinterest or similar, I'd see if you could contact the original poster to ask.
It looks like a vintage style cluster/illusion setting, with fishtail style prongs. It's kind of a cross between these two styles:
If it's pretty much exactly what you want, you could see if it could be custom made. Custom projects aren't for the faint of heart, but someone like David Klass (no website, search Facebook for his page) could likely execute a ring like this pretty well.
Edited to add: the photo is too dark to tell you much about the diamonds. They are rounds, that's about all I can say definitively, but I couldn't say if they are round brilliants or antiques of some kind. They are also probably fairly small, maybe .10 or smaller. The center appears slightly larger than the surrounding stones. I'd guess the center is .10 and the surrounding stones are maybe .7 or .5.
You didn't show enough of the ring for us to know exactly what it looks like from the side. But most jewelers could recreate that. They'd mount the diamonds in a plate for cluster rings. Then they can drop that plate into some head of your choosing, and solder a shank to it. You could choose the shank style, and choose the type of head.
I have a couple of vintage rings like that. Mine both have a diamond cluster dropped into a fishtail type head.
