some help on pricing

Any idea what a 0.91 ct AGS0 H&A VS2, G colour, VG VG diamond would go for?

You can find this out by doing a Price Search on the Pricescope home page..You enter in the carat weight, color etc...and there is a multiple listing of diamonds which fit that category..This should give you a good representation of what you should be paying comparatively for similiar stones...

I tried doing that but the sizes available jumps from 0.8 cts to 1.01. Would 6000 USD be about right? I'm in Canada and that translates to 8100 CDN so this price includes ~25% taxes and levy. ($4500 US without taxes).

Hi SS...

I just did a pricesearch on AGS and GIA certified diamonds with Very Good Symettry & Very Good Polish and the average price ranged from $3750.00-$4000.00...US

The results were base on about 20 different stones which were exactly .91 and g/vs2 cert. AGS/GIA VG/VG..

With VG symmetry, this might not be a true H&A diamond. A true H&A typically has Ideal or Excellent symmetry. Ask the Vendor or check the comments section of the Cert to see if it reads, "Exhibits Hearts and Arrows patterns."

Using PS Price Stats, the average asking price for a true .091 carat, G, VS2 H&A diamond would be about $4850. The average asking price for a 1A Cut would be about $4360.
