I bought my fiance''s e-ring from there. They have a ton of settings available, some I didn''t see anywhere else. Transaction went smooth except for some issues getting the GIA report--I don''t know if it was SB or the wholesaler that caused the holdup, but I got the report about six weeks after the ring. The ring arrived on the promised date, just a delay on the certificate. SB doesn''t have as many diamonds in-house as JA, mostly virtual inventory, which is what BN does, as well. They have a decent return policy, as well.Date: 8/5/2009 3:22:50 PM

Anyone have any experience buying from this vendor? How do they stack up to JA, Blue Nile, etc...
My cushion diamond came from them, as well as my brother's FF's round brilliant. (She hasn't received it yet, engagement will hopefully be soon) Both diamonds have arrived with their certificates and everything was together. My brother got a diamond that met his stringent specifications within his budget and he's very happy with it. As for me, I love my diamond! FI and my bro worked with the same guy since he was awesome and was able to look at the diamonds, talk to the guys while looking at the stone to check on clarity, and just really took care of them. My stone sparkles like crazy and I know that my FI got a really good deal on my stone. My ring was purchased from a different vendor. We have another friend who will be purchasing his stone from Solomon Brothers as well, but he hasn't quite pulled the trigger on it yet. We're so happy with them that we will be buying my future diamonds from them as well as recommended about 4 more people to them. I hope that helps!Date: 8/5/2009 3:22:50 PM
