Solitaire vs. Channel-Set Eternity Engagement Ring with Tiffany Style Head

The diamond I might be buying is having it's picture taken at Whiteflash right now, so it might be getting crunch time on finalizing the setting. The diamond is a 1.35ct I color VS2 GIA Ex/Ex cut.

I'm either going with a SuperbCert Tiffany Replica solitaire setting (seems to be the best replica out there right?)... or a Channel Set Eternity style engagement setting.

Does anyone know of a setting out there that is the Channel Set Eternity style (diamonds go all the way around) that has a Tiffany style head/prongs like the SuperbCert one? I know that SuperbCert makes a channel set Tiffany replica, but the stones only go half the way around.

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated! I've talked to Barry at SuperbCert and he said he would "soften" the knife edge on the Tiffany replica for me like I asked, but I haven't gotten an answer back on whether they could make me a true eternity style channel set Tiffany replica.

Also, a quick general question- Do Pricescope members get a discount at either Whiteflash or Excel Diamonds? If so, I wouldn't want to miss out!

I think Excel would make it full eternity if you want. Pretty sure Whiteflash makes one, too. PSers do at Whiteflash, not at Excel.

I''ll have to look more closely at Whiteflash''s settings. I don''t remember seeing one, but I''ll look again. I''m still waiting to hear if Excel can make it. From the pictures, I prefer the Excel Tiffany setting a little more than the Whiteflash version because the prongs seem a little thinner/more shapely/elegant. It''s slight, but I think I notice it. Whiteflash''s price is a little better... I will definitely consider both. I hope both will agree to do the eternity style Tiffany setting... that would give me a big decision, but very good choices.

Any other opinions/suggestions or anybody know of any other products out there I might be interested in?

I did speak to Barry and he said they woudn''t feel comfortable making an eternity channel set Tiffany ring because it wouldn''t be a true Tiffany replica, and because if it were the wrong size it would be near impossible to resize. I haven''t spoken to Whiteflash.

However, I have come across another option, and that is Mark Morrell. His designs seem incredible. They are a bit pricey, but they look outstanding. I will probably get in touch with him soon to see what he has to offer as far as a channel set eternity band with the fluted prongs. If that is cost prohibitive, then I might just get one of his solitaire settings, as they look really beautiful...

Does anyone have experience with Mark''s PT900 platinum and how durable it is/how it wears compared to PT950 platinum (both iridium and ruthenium mix)? I''m wondering if it''ll stay shiny longer/become less gray than the 950PT...?
