Solitaire or Shared prong!! Opinions please!

Hi All,
I''m in process of finding my perfect stone, 2.25-2.50 ct. I have a "loaner" Memoire Petite Prong setting in 1 ct. tw. from my new friend Bill Pearlman (what a great guy he is) Just received it today to see if I like it (Thank you so very much Bill!!)

Attached is a pics of the Memoire with a cz to envision the setting, Im torn between shared prong and classic solitaire, your thoughts and opinions would be so greatly appreciated!

Is that a 1 ct center or a replica 2.5 ct? I think the stone in there makes the side stones look really small. I think in a stone that size I would prefer a simple solitaire and then get blingly bands to wear with it when I want.

It''s beautiful, but I think the diamonds in the shared prong need to be a bit bigger. I agree with Aprilbaby, I think a classic solitaire would make your diamond pop better.

I think it looks really pretty myself! I guess it depends on the look you are going for. Would you go with the matching
band to the memorie...or if you go with a solitare would you go with a eternity wedding band? What do you want to
see when you look down at your finger? Why dont you go buy a cheap silver solitare with a large CZ in it and take
turns wearing each one around the house. Which one do you feel more comfortable with?

For me, I would probably go with the memorie but I''m into added bling these days. If you havent done it yet go look
at some of the SMTR pages and see if you can find things similar to what you want.

The memoire setting in the pic has a 2 ct. replica cubic z in the center! Its so funny, looks so real!
I do not want the diamond band to take away from the center stone, so I prefer the band smaller. I would get a matching memoire band if I got this setting. But in real, it is so small and dainty! If I chose the solitaire I would get an eternity (much larger) wedding band.
Decisions, decisions!!
