Hi everyone,

I'm looking into getting a u prong 3/4 eternity band, like the White Flash Annette band. I plan on pairing it with ha simple, plain shank solitaire. I've heard that this kind of band can scratch other rings and even cut through prongs. I really don't want to wear a spacer band so my question is: what else can I do to prevent damage? Can this type of band be soldered? I don't mind not having the option of wearing them separately.

I actually asked someone at White Flash and they told me they weren't sure, but think it shouldn't be a problem. I really want to make sure I can protect both rings, while getting the look I want, before purchasing anything. I would really appreciate an answer about the soldering possibility.

Thanks!

I dont see why they couldnt be soldered. My moms rings are soldered together and its at the very bottom of the ring(s). Her
rings are more like a "set" and she would never wear one without the other so it works for her.

Thanks for replying. I wasn't sure if it was possible since there won't be much metal on the band. I think I'll go ahead and purchase the band.

How big of stones are you looking at (or carat total weight?)
