I''ve been looking at these diamonds on goodoldgold.com

They are of intriguing. I''d like to look at one up-close compared to a H&A.

Are there other internet sites that I could do some comparative shopping for these?

Since all Solasfera diamonds are cut and distributed from one source, one company, the pricing will be far more consistent from stone to stone than regaular diamonds cut and distributed from countless sources. After the distribution comes re-sellers such as GOG and they can''t mark up the stones a whole lot since diamonds are so highly competitive. This means that will be little reason to shop as prices must be quite similar for any Internet sellers. You may find far broader mark-up differences in B&M stores, but the Internet is too accessible for competitive sellers not to closely mimic one another''s mark-ups if they hope to make sales. You may find varying levels of service provided by Internet sellers as well as different peronal and corporate personalities, but the price issue is far less influential on who you end up choosing to buy from.

GOG offers top of the line service, great upgade and buyback policies and customer videos upon request. I have not found a site that gives you as many comparison tools or as good an education as GOG. For a guarantee of top performing optics I wouldn''t hesitate to reccomend Rhino(Jon) as his knowledge and approach to selling diamonds is second to none.

However all of this labour comes at a cost, they have to call in inventory, perform reflector tests and videos and keep the inventory in stock. As a result sometimes GOG''s markup is higher than other sites, they do have a price match policy on virtual stones so it is worth it for you to do your homework.
