Ok, so this process seems to be taking forever and my dear FF is letting me take the reigns on picking out my stone since I am such a control freak. So, my absolutes are OUTSTANDING CUT, BIG BIG size for the money, best sparkle and flash so I am looking at this stone from GOG below. Comes up with a nice 1.2 on the HCA -- assuming that''s a pretty nice score? It looks really good IMHO.

Thoughts? The lovely and very responsive Marie polled some folks in-store about the stone''s beauty and their responses were as follows:
"One customer said she did not notice the inclusion at all, and thought the diamond was spectacular."

"One girl said the inclusion was not noticeable with out seeing it with the loupe first and then when she knew where it was, she can find it with out the loupe, but she was not bothered by it."

I am waiting on some additional photos but what, from you very savvy pricescopers, do you think of this stone?

Are you still considering a Leon setting for your stone?

I am!!! I am trying to figure out if I have Leon do the setting if it affects the GOG upgrade/lifetime policy. I am just IN LOVE with Leon''s settings and want one so very very bad

He''s got a 3-stone halo that makes me swoon (with sapphire sides).


Has anyone done this? Bought from GOG and had Leon do the setting?

Would love see some examples!

Lots of people have. Why would one affect the other? GOG trade up policy is on the stone. Of course if you upgrade the stone... the setting (if it's a halo especially) will be a loss... you'll have to set it with something else. So I would be careful about spending big bucks on a setting, if you are upgrading soon. In that case I'd spend the full budget on the stone and get a temp 14K setting, then get the setting later.
