SO is moving in 2 weeks and starting his new job. :(

He is moving to the DC area, which is 4 1/2 hours away from where we currently live. I am sad that we will have to be long-distance for a while, but him not having a job was the one thing that was stopping us from getting engaged. I am expecting a proposal by the end of the year or early next year.

I am planning on moving there to be with him after we are engaged. I'm just hoping I won't have too much trouble finding a job.

Yes, this is very true. in these short months you are apart you can focus on you: hobbies, working out, your job, spending lots of time with family and friends you are leaving behind...
