ok so heres the story, I have the most wonderful man in the world whom ive waited almost ten years to be with, we met online back in late 98 early 99, when we were like 14 but we lived in different states, so we continued chatting over aol for YEARS, finally on September 13 2006 we met in person he spent the week with me and by the time it was time for him to leave we were inseparable ... six months later he moved in with me and its been happily ever after. we both knew we were gonna get married, the ring "shopping online" began this past November and on the spur of the moment one day mid December he told me to get in the car cuz he wanted to go for a ride... well this ride ended up to be a field trip to all the local jewelers "just to look" we had some trouble finding the style of ring that i wanted because its a very vintage style wedding set that usually has smaller diamonds in in and he had his mind set on getting something a little bigger.. so we looked and found alot of nothing that we both really loved...until the last place... we walked in and found "the ring" everything about it was perfect. he had me try it on and all that good stuff and it fit perfectly... he discussed pricing with the owner while i was distracted by the pretty shinyness that was on my finger... so we got the guys card and what not.. got in the car and were on our way home chatting about the various rings we looked at, I mentioned how much i loved the last ring we looked at... he turned to me and asked me if that was really what i wanted, I barely had time say anything because at this point he turned the car around and was heading back to the jewelry store.. I was so shocked that he was just gonna walk in and pay for this ring.. so he bought the ring and turns out the owner gave it to him for a VERY reasonable price because the ring I fell in love with was the same design he gave his wife when they were our age.. i was so happy i cried on the drive home.. so hes had the ring since December 14th and the suspense is KILLING me, ive sneaked a few peeks and oogled over it, then he had to go and lock them up in a lock box which i don''t have a key for...he says hes waiting for the right moment.. lets see Christmas,new years, valentines day, my birthday, leap year have already gone by all would have been great days... is anyone else getting flustered over this.. he promised he wouldn''t make me wait months lol and its eating me lol.. any one else in a similar situation?? i wanna hear all your stories ladies. You guys are the only ones ive told any of this too he wants to keep it a secret until he pops the ?
