I did it on a bridge overlooking the Chicago Skyline on our 5 year anniversary after a a great dinner-she had no idea. I made sure it was her turn to walk the dog and volunteered to accompany her. Onnce we walked onto the bridge, I asked. She thought I was kidding at first, even as I was down on one knee. After balling for 3 minutes straight, she said yes and loves the ring. Thank you to everyone here who helped me. It was rather cool, but not in a way I expected. The whole thing gave me the same feeling I had when I first asked a girl to dance. It''s cool to have those butterflys again at thirty. Its been a long time. Anyway, thanks to Mark Turnowski @ Engagement Rings Direct. He was always responsive and took a risk by giving me a diamond before he saw the wire transfer credit his account to accommodate my schedule. Just don''t expect him to do that with everyone, but he did with me and I am happy. Happy Enough that I am making sure my Dad buys my moms Christmas diamond earing studs from him. So anyway thanks everyone, your comments on literally everything helped me attain this great memory
