I proposed a month or so ago and haven''t had a decent digital camera to take a picture of the ring. Here is a top view. I''ll try to get a side view too. She loves it (the most important part).

Oh yeah... it's a platinum setting and the diamond is a 0.92 ct.

Thanks for the kind words about the ring. She knew she wanted a semi-bezel setting, and we seemed to find the same generic setting at almost every jewelry store. We finally stumbled upon a store near her house that had this setting and she immediately knew it was the one she wanted. Being platinum and being, according to the jeweler, a "designer setting," it certainly was not the cheapest one in the store!

But she loves it and that makes me happy.

Yeah... she wanted something very simple and elegant. I am not sure who the "designer" is... perhaps just a sales pitch by the jeweler. Whoever designed it... did a good job of designing what she wanted. Here are a couple more pics...

The jeweler did not have a matching wedding bad for this setting. Would most jewelers be able to custom make one to match the ring?
